Derby County Supporters' Club London Branch (DCSCLB) has over two hundred members, the majority resident in London and the Home Counties. The London Branch is part of the official supporters' club and has developed an excellent relationship with Derby County over the seasons.
DCSCLB was re-formed in the early 1980s after a previous association of London-based Derby County supporters disbanded in the mid-1970s but it was the formation of the new Committee in 1982 that fuelled a rapid growth in interest and the range of activities undertaken. During the summer we play cricket on a friendly basis, including fixtures against other APFSCIL clubs.
DCSCLB's main function remains to encourage as many of our members as possible to travel to watch The Rams. We aim to arrange match tickets for all away fixtures across all competitions, with as large an allocation as possible. We also arrange rail trips to weekend home games and away matches where possible, often co-operating with other APFSCIL clubs to take advantage of the various rail operators' group travel fares.
We try to nominate one pub as our official meeting place prior to all matches. For home games we now meet in The Royal Telegraph on London Road (DE1 2QS) which is around five minutes walk from the railway station.
We keep our members in touch with events at the Club and in the Branch by publishing our newsletter Capital Ram, which give details of ticket deadlines, London Branch events and travel arrangements, at regular intervals throughout the season.
